"I want to share with you my immediate happiness and results from doing the Isha Kriya meditation. I have suffered a post-nasal drip and associated severe coughing for many years, recently increasing to the point of the unbearable, and I was complaining loudly about it to my wife, and to God, and then, lo and behold, I bumped into the youtube videos of Sadhguru. What an instant relief to my soul and brain….and body!

Immediately upon doing the first Isha Kriya meditation, my symptoms were greatly minimized and made almost insignificant, and as a result I am now very grateful and blissful and almost undisturbed by the remaining, minimized symptoms of my imbalance. I realize that I created my symptoms and suffering myself, although I don't know entirely how or exactly why….except, obviously, through some ignorance. I am happy to leave those details in the garbage can of my mind and let the higher intelligence and true nature take care of those things and re-balance me, as I dissociate from it through Isha Kriya and Sadhguru's grace.
Also, watching the Sadhguru videos help a great deal and are part of my growing peace and bliss. I know that Sadhguru is pouring into me, delivering me from suffering, and ultimately from my unbearable ignorance.
How can there be a limitation in the presence of someone like Sadhguru? I am sure there can not."

"We offered the Isha Kriya meditation to cancer support groups at the Karmanos Cancer Institute on two different occasions. On February 16, Isha Kriya was offered to the young women’s cancer support group. Seven women attended the session which was very well received.

Comments from the women after completing the kriya included, 'What a relief,' 'This was so relaxing,' and, 'It’s important to have something like this when dealing with an illness like cancer.' Many expressed their gratitude for the experience and were excited to try the meditation at home on their own. One participant was sure she wanted to go and share it with one of her friends who could not attend the session that night. Because of the overwhelmingly positive response to the Isha Kriya by the members of this group, we were asked back to offer it to the couple’s support group.
On March 6, Isha Kriya was offered to the couple’s cancer support group. Sixteen people attended and again the response to the kriya was extremely positive. There were many personal thank-you’s and exclamations of how relaxing it was and how much it was needed. A few people said they couldn’t wait to start doing it at home every day. Since these were couples many were excited about doing it together. One participant exclaimed, 'This is better than Xanax or Ativan!'
The coordinator of these groups let us know that they have offered other meditation programs in the past but none were as well received as the Isha Kriya. She was excited to see the participants have a positive experience and to be able to offer them a valuable tool to help deal with the circumstances they are facing. After this last session we have been asked to offer it to the staff at the cancer center, which we hope to have scheduled soon."

An Isha meditator recently shared Isha Kriya with his mother. He writes…
At 85, mother has suffered many aches and pains in her aging body. In Oct last year, I was hoping she would be able to attend Long Beach Shambhavi Mahamudra with Sadhguru, except she was in a lot of pain, and her physical condition did not allow her to do so. I suggested learning Isha Kriya when it was first made public.

Hesitantly, with much curiosity in her eyes, she sat down in front of the computer with me one day, and I went through the process with her. My mother cannot speak or understand much English, so I translated the instructions of Isha Kriya into Chinese for her so she could follow them on her own.
Towards the end of the process, I told her quietly that Sadhguru is going to sing something, when that happens, just open her heart and receive. With eyes closed, she did exactly that. Sitting next to her, my tears came down on my face. She asked me later what happened? I told her that she now has Sadhguru’s life within her, just like me when I was going thru Inner Engineering Program two and a half years ago.
Six weeks later, I visited her again. I was amazed how well and energetic she looked. She literally looked 5 years younger. She enjoyed it so much that she has been doing the practice twice a day ever since, and she only missed one or two sessions because of her illness.
I am so happy for her, not only that her physical condition has improved dramatically, but that she also received the seed that Sadhguru planted within her. I know one day soon this seed will become a tree, a tree of life with Sadhguru’s breath in it. Isha Kriya is working for her.

An Isha Kriya Experience
A new meditator shares his experience.
"It all turned out to be a twist of fate in my case. Way back in 1977 I was introduced to the Transcendental Meditation by a Sanskrit professor. I was very skeptical about it and I could not pursue it.
On my recent visit to the U.S, I attended a meditation class arranged by Isha organizers in a temple at Houston. It was a video program and Sadhguru appeared on the screen and briefed and explained Isha kriya. It lasted for about 40 minutes. It was a simple device of breathe-in and breathe-out exercise. What struck me was the ‘Beeja Mantra’ the Veda mantra, the Sukti , the concept of detachment- ‘I’m not the body and I’m not the mind’. It had an electrifying effect on me. I pursued the kriya for the stipulated period of 48 days and now I feel elated and am in pursuit of ‘Know Thyself.’"

"I have been going through a period of turmoil because four people who are very close to me have died in the past few weeks. In the same period I have attended a presentation by some volunteers of Isha Foundation. I wanted to do the breathing to help me deal with this and especially because I have asthma since childhood and no amount of medications have helped me.

One of the funerals which I was attending in Boston, was the one that caused a lot of turmoil in me because the asthma medication was running out and I had only 5 inhalations left. I was so anxious that I need more. On the plane and throughout my trip, I did the Isha practice and I am so happy to say that the number 5 has remained as is on my inhaler. I did not use the diskette nor did I use the rescue medication. And my breathing has been normal for the last 2 weeks. I just keep doing the practice. Imagine with what I have learned during the presentation, I could do that. I am so exited about attending the full workshop with Sadhguru."

"It was a very nice experience. I enjoyed myself very much. I have kind of experienced what I expected, since I studied a little bit. Before I came I looked at some videos and I am really looking forward to seeing sadguru in George R Brown. I have looked at some of his videos and I find it very educational and very eye opening at times and I am lost for words. I am really looking forward to his visit."

"I just would like to say that my experience with this program today is very enlightening. During the breathing exercise today i felt an inner peace and felt so calm and so relaxed. That is a feeling I have not had in a while.
I look forward to going forward with the rest of the program to see how I can reduce the stress levels and just understand myself, my body and mental parts and things better. I look forward to the program May 4-6th.
I believe it will really benefit me because we manage a lot of people and hospitals. So many employees, the stress level is very high. So finding that inner peace and learning to be deal with the stress from people and daily life, I think I will benefit immensely. I am going to read the book I bought. I look forward to the program."
