Enveloped by the sacred Jai Bhairavi Devi chant, ghee lamps flickering around us, we came together in the presence of Sadhguru for the first Linga Bhairavi Yantra group ceremony in the US. We etched this profound happening into memory – enormous, inexplicable, intense.
People traveled from across the nation to receive this gift – fifteen homes were prepared and awaiting this consecrated form, lovingly placed into our hands by Sadhguru. Energy and grace permeated the room – gentle and soft, playful and strong.

After the ceremony, the volunteers lifted and packed, carried and loaded the Yantras into vans, some to make transcontinental journeys, others across town. Devi arrived in homes in California, Florida, Texas, Michigan, Minnesota and Georgia:
“We brought her home at 1:00 am, and four of our meditators were waiting to welcome her. They had the house key and they came early. They decorated and brought offerings of flowers and food.
Devi is powerful and she is getting stronger. There is a clear, clear difference between when we first placed her and now, twelve hours later. It’s amazing to watch her unfold. I can’t explain how she is here. She is raw energy. I guess she is not called MahaShakti for nothing.”
– Isha Volunteer, Loxahatchee, Florida.
Those of us fortunate enough to be touched by this consecration offer our gratitude to all who gave their hearts and hands to make this possible. Many at the Isha Yoga Center in India and the US worked to make this happen in the most beautiful way. There was a flow and ease throughout the entire process, from the initial preparations to the final ceremony. After experiencing how it feels to live in a consecrated space, it is our collective wish that all could experience living like this – each home, village, town, and city!
Imagine living life without frustration
Without jealousy, anxiety, depressionImagine living in a state of joy
Strong, clear, focused
Light and burden free
Imagine living in a state
Where life flows
One floats
Like a cork upon the water
This sweet Grace
Unfathomable
Beyond understanding
But, oh, so real!
Devi, I bow down to you
